We never cease to be overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the wonderful people out there, who even through their grief and sadness put on a brave face and think of others. Last Tuesday I met this amazing lady (Valerie) her much adored husband David (Walton) passed away in Bexley Wing a few weeks ago. With Valerie is David's sister Barbara with her husband Colin. This loving family had a collection for "Hug on a Tray" at David's funeral, where many friends and family members gave generously, David and his family benefited with all that we provided for the two years he was on the wards having treatment, all that he received, goodie bags, free TV and hugs was greatly appreciated.
